Monogrammed Stationery ala Poeme!

We are focusing this year on designing our own line of stationery, and our first project - monogrammed stationery! We wanted something contemporary, clean and fun, but not too masculine or feminine, and with some fun color variety. The monograms are simple but bold, and each set includes a variety of envelope colors in either a warm or cool palette. We hope you like them!

Vote for Cincy Event Planning's Tabletop Design!

Hello, dear readers - Allison here! I hope you're having an awesome day. After having the pleasure of working with Lindsey of Cincy Event Planning on an uber-awesome March wedding (more to come on that post-nuptials!), she approached me with their stationery needs for a tabletop design competition, asking if we were interested in collaborating. Of course we were! Knowing that the projected look was funky black and fuschia mod with large feathers and boas and being given (coveted) creative freedom, we went to town. I think the final product turned out beautifully and am so glad for the opportunity. Now for the nitty-gritty: this is a competition, so please cast your vote on the PrimeTime Rentals facebook page. Every vote is much appreciated! Ta-ta for now.

Our only regret, you ask? That we didn't get to eat the yummy-looking cupcakes from Tres Belle.

Tattoo Wedding Invitation

Everyone enjoys a challenge - especially me when it comes to a wedding invitation! My friend Jane approached me to design her nephew's wedding invitations for their April 2010 wedding in England. Absolutely - tea, crumpets, and hats fit for a queen - Not so much! The groom is the lead singer in a punk band - apparently quite a successful punk band called Deaf Havana

Here were my marching orders... Chris and Tanya wanted wedding stationery that reflected their style as musicians, incorporated their colors - pink and silver, and here's the best part - the Groom's tattoos! After receiving these images of Chris's body art, the solution was simple - concert poster invitation, accompanied by a CD with images and music of the couple's choosing. Enjoy! I had a great time working on this one!

Our blog is "Open" for business!

Wow!... we have a blog, we have a blog, we have a blog! It may be a little late in coming, a little daunting as a task, but now that we're putting the wheels in motion - it's proving to be a very exciting new venture. Obviously, we're paper people (paper addicts, paper-files, call us what you will) so this amazing thing they call the World Wide Web is not our first line of communication, but we are willing to take the leap!

What to expect? It's a work in progress! Our initial goal is to share our everyday inspirations - designs, products, events. We will be featuring our custom designs for wedding and everyday, sharing our new products when they arrive and what has been keeping us busy - projects, events, local interests and sometimes a little personal inspiration.

So meet Poeme! If you aren't able to pop into the shop, pay us a visit here! We're looking forward to sharing!
